Signature Requirements:

  • Local Initiatives and Referenda: Delaware City – 25% of voters signatures, Newport 50% of voters signatures.

Title 22: Municipalities Ch. 8: Home Rule Subchapter I. General Provisions § 802 allows for Charter cities with populations of 1000 or more can create charter amendments.

Nominations: Federal Offices, State Executive Offices and Legislature
