And there are things to be considered . . .
Where are you living? What are you doing?
What are your relationships?
Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?
Know your garden.
It is time to speak your Truth.
Create your community.
Be good to each other.
And do not look outside yourself for the leader.”
Then he clasped his hands together, smiled, and said, “This could be a good time!”
“There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they have torn apart and will suffer greatly.
“Know the river has its destination. The elders say we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate. At this time in history, we are to take nothing personally, Least of all ourselves. For the moment that we do, our spiritual growth and journey come to a halt.
“The time for the lone wolf is over. Gather yourselves! Banish the word struggle from your attitude and your vocabulary. All that we do now must be done in a sacred manner and in celebration.
“We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.” A Hopi Elder Speaks
The Six Nations are the oldest participatory democracy on earth. For over 800 peaceful years, six nations have existed as a participatory democracy, voluntarily organized by the Mohawks, Oneidas, Onondagas, Cayugas, Senecas and Tuscaroras.
The six nations united are known as the Iroquois Confederacy. They exist, their lessons matter and they provide proof direct democracy systems can work on a large scale.
Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson drew from the Iroquois to shape their ideas about the how the USA’s current republican form of government is modeled. States form together to form a union with representatives representing people of the great longhouses. They even created a Senate similar the Iroquois grandmothers councils who had veto power over decisions made by the males leaders who would later represent our Congress.
The founders left out one crucial detail that they should have learned from the natives, however, and that was to define and include a truly participatory democracy.
All of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness can be realized and manifest when the people of the united states use the method that has worked to maintain peace between the six nations for over 900 years, and that is to utilize direct democracy to save the republic.
Representative Democracy leaves the people one step out of the conversation.
The Iroquois Confederacy, who call themselves the Haudenosaunee (ho dee noe sho nee) or People of the Longhouse have used a fully participatory democracy where all people vote on issues that could affect them equally.
If this system were applied to our modern government, the common desires shared by liberals and conservatives alike would be enacted. The vision as that we can assure in the 5th age, as prophesied by the native tribes, where the earth will be protected and humankind can know peace again. We must have faith, and we can base it off of proof. A spiritual revolution is possible and great change will occur when you embrace this.
Common things the majority of people in the agree with are: ending the wars, no bailouts for bankers, stop special influence money from financing politics etc.
When the First Nation’s members and citizens unite and vote on the direct policies that effect us together, like to preserve the water, the sea, the air and the natural habitat of the animals, we will have such strength in numbers combined that ALL ecologically sensitive issues can be resolved.
How did the Iroquois influence the United State’s independence?
How will their ancient knowledge provide for a new rebirth of the nation, leading to an end of all political corruption, end all of our wars, and the prophecy of the 5th age of peace?
When you learn about how the Iroquois created their direct democracy and we implement a consensus-based representational model of RIPAC with sophisticated strategies and online software, a direct democracy in the USA can reform the republican form of government and make it more democratic. We can represent the people to save First Nations and all nations ecological concerns.
Twenty-four states have statewide ballot initiative rights where we can change direct constitutional law by a majority vote. Nearly every state has some citizen lawmaking or referendum right on a local level. We have the right to kick politicians out of office, to get better candidates on the ballot, and six states have the right to a citizen grand jury to prosecute crimes of the state.
North Dakota and Arizona, where Standing Rock and Oak Flat are can be saved by these foreign industrial tycoons seeking to jeopardize all life.
Even if they build a pipeline, or they start to drill, it can all be halted as an emergency measure immediately following the 2018 election. Mark your calendars, we have a chance to save our whole nation and it can start here.
When we save the water, we can save the nation.
When the people of the USA use these rights, rather than being passive observers, we will save our nation. That accomplishment can save the world.
When the USA progresses forward to a more participatory democracy, other nations around the world will too.
Why do we need to meddle in the structure of government? What do we need to save the United States from? Ask yourself these questions, truly, and acknowledge your awareness that there are only three ways to change policy: candidates, courts or through our communities enabling direct democracy with ballot propositions ourselves.
Today, our republic is failing. Our politicians do not represent us, they represent multinational corporations, wealth, and greed. If we don’t’ take our nation back from corporate influences, all the rights we have taken for granted will be lost. They are already disappearing at an alarming rate.
With the exception of Iroquois participatory democracy, all of the world’s great civilizations followed the same path:
- Bondage to Liberty
- Liberty to Abundance
- Abundance to Complacency
- Complacency to Apathy
- Apathy back to Bondage.
To be exceptions to history, we must break the cycle, for those who don’t remember history, we are doomed to repeat it.
The Iroquois broke the cycle of war by creating a spiritually driven participatory democracy. In a republic, a corporation can buy off representation for its needs, in a direct democracy, no corporation could pay the people enough to sell out our rights. Logic dictates that direct democracy is the only solution short of violent revolution. A peaceful revolution, in line with our heart and minds true values is the only kind that can ensure positive victory.
The way things are going, I hope you decide to form a direct democracy with us rather than wait until the only option left against corruption in our government is direct violence against it. Worse, we can be victims of government violence, putting our bodies on the ground at the hands of their paid thugs because we failed to take positive non-violent action initially. We were in denial and we didn’t address our gorwing problems as we could have early on before they got more and more uncomfortable.
As it get’s worse and worse, as the police become more and more militarized, as they eliminate our constitutional rights incrementally, we have to ask ourselves, who are we waiting for to fix this?
The answer: ourselves!
Six Nations Facts:
According to Wikipedia, about 45,000 enrolled Six Nations people lived in Canada, and about 80,000 in the United States. First nation’s have enough members, that should they desire to carry out the spiritual will of their grandmothers and grandfathers seven generations back, which should be for peace among all tribes of the rainbow.
The League is governed by a Grand Council, an assembly of fifty chiefs or sachems, each representing one of the clans of one of the nations. This is classical republicanism.
Iroquois political and diplomatic decisions are made on the local level and are based on assessments of community consensus. The manner that consensus was found was by participatory democracy. Each tribal member votes and the consensus is formed through a quorum method, and the sachem then represents their constituents accordingly.
Imagine if our government took the consensus of all of us prior to voting on our behalf?
Imagine if each issue was debated thoroughly through the use of sophisticated quorums until a consensus was reached?
Our age of technology allows for functional quorums to be created, where every voter can participate in debate and consensus building, and a representative can vote on our behalf in the legislature.
Imagine if each issue was debated thoroughly through the use of sophisticated quorums until a consensus was reached?
RIPAC is calling for Iroquois.2.0, a life centered spiritual direct democracy for all people in the USA and abroad to benefit from. We work to stop corruption in government, save the environment and the economy.
Our age of technology allows for functional quorums to be created, where every voter can participate in debate and consensus building, and a representative can vote on our behalf in the legislature. RIPAC is already implementing strategies to create our platform agenda with like members.
A central Federal Government that develops policy and implements it for the people at large is not the Iroquois model of government. Our founders validated slavery and left direct democracy out of the picture. Let’s build a new America, with ideas from the original America.
Would you welcome a spiritually oriented, peacefully positioned governance system of and by the people like the Iroquois?
It has worked and continues to work for the Iroquois today as the longest living direct democracy form of government. Direct democracy works on single issue items as well as complex ones, from our local municipality with charter amendments, ballot initiatives, referenda and recalls to our national government with the power of limited constitutional convention.
We are going to start small and local, and when we get national an entirely new national direct democracy nation is possible. A nation protecting our bill of rights, eco-systems and economies, one that represents the people directly is completely possible. Direct accomplishments using this system are available to us by 2018, should we decide to take action now.
Why not call for a constitutionally legal and valid republican form of government that has a true direct democracy where we can vote on as many items as we want or need? We can do this now without needing any miracles, all we need is our will power, to learn about ballot proposition processes, the RIPAC strategies and to then go out and collect signatures on our petitions we care about.
What if your vote became more powerful than the politicians that we could stop all corruption in government? It’s possible, we are making it happen, you have the power to decide with us. Let’s use the direct democracy tools we have now to create a new six nations, where all of the people of the sovereignty of the United States can participate. As sovereign people of the United States, we can participate and nations of the world can follow our path, towards peace, unity, love and respect in accordance with natural law, to protect us all from the wrath of unbridled government power.
